Sport Relief 2016

On Thursday 17th March students attempted to climb the height of The Shard in one lunchtime. The pupils did fantastically well and managed to reach the summit of the Shard before time ran out.

On Friday 18th March students attempted to run a mile for Sport Relief. Over a hundred pupils and staff were involved in raising money for Sport Relief by successfully completing the mile. Thomas Filek, Jack Day and Ethan Baylin were the fastest students, completing the mile in very good times. A number of students ran with hands linked, backwards and Jack Smith managed to walk around on crutches with a broken ankle. Great effort!

In total, the students raised £260 for both the climb and fun run combined. Well done to everyone who was involved.  Let's try and raise even more money next time.
