Selby High School student, Will Dennis, selected for England Rugby Divisional Squad

Congratulation to Will Dennis, who has been selected for the England North, divisional rugby union squad. He will firstly play in matches against the South, the South West and the Midlands, together with games against international opposition from Wales and France, before hopefully gaining, two of many, international caps at home to the Italian U17XV on 19th April, 2014 and then away to the Welsh U16s on 27th April 2014.

Selby High School student, Will, joined Selby RUFC in October 2010 with virtually no rugby experience, but through the support of his coaches Will has worked incredibly hard at the technical side of his game which allied to his immense natural (farmer!) strength has transformed him into the first choice tight head prop in Yorkshire at his age grade.

Following strong county performances Will was invited into the North Development Squad and again through his impressive performances has been selected for the final North of England squad.

Will has won himself a place at Prince Henry's Grammar School Rugby Academy in Leeds to study for his A Levels alongside The Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence.

Well done Will, everyone at the school is immensely proud of you!!
