Josh Bowden to blow up BOCM tower

Josh Bowden, Year 7, is really looking forward to Saturday night in Selby this weekend.  In an interview for the school website he could hardly stop smiling, as he explained how he had won a local competition, to guess the height of a Selby landmark, the BOCM Pauls' Olympia Mills tower.  His guess of 30m was the nearest to the true height of 30.4m.  His prize…… is to press the button that blows up the tower at 1.00am on Sunday morning.  Josh, who lives in the vicinity of the tower is really excited at the opportunity to participate in an event that will change the landscape in the town and allow the initiation of development of the Olympia Park.
