A Trip Back in Time

Our Trip to Skipton Castle: 15th January, 2016

Before the trip we felt excited and nervous. Some of us had never been on a trip so we were really happy; it is always fun to be away from school!

The bus journey was bumpy but cool. It was funny when we got lost.

While we were at the castle we saw: canons, prehistoric elk antlers, dungeons in the dark and towers. The best bits were the canons, the bedroom, the withdrawing room, the sewing room and the fantastic guide who ‘magicked’ badges out of the castle walls. The worst bit was losing all feeling in our feet as it was so cold!

Over all, Skipton Castle was a brilliant day out. Now we have been, we can enjoy all the activities we are going to take part in in our Literacy lessons.
